Two of the poems found in Yeoman’s Work have been nominated for the annual Pushcart Prize which honors the best work from small presses. Editors from journals and small presses may only choose a small number of work to send for consideration, and I’m honored to have two poems from my collection sent for consideration.
You can check out one of those poems, ‘Stopping by the Quik-Fil before dawn,’ as well as an interview transcript on the process of writing poetry, right here. To read the other poem, “Diurnal,” you’ll just have to buy the collection. Sorry.
My thanks go to editors Hank Hudepohl at Pine Row Press and Larry Smith at Bottom Dog Press for their support.
