I have two new poems out with The 2River View, a publication I have long admired. The 2River editor, Richard Long, curates a beautiful quarterly, which only features 10 writers per issue, and leans toward showcasing multiple poems from each contributor (rather than a single poem), which makes the fit more difficult. The rewards, I think, are evident though, as the issue has some really beautiful work.
You can find my poems here, including an audio recording of their recitation. Both of these are recent compositions, and were culled a little more directly from my life than usual. The first, Borrow Pit, resulted from a sad conversation with a friend who is a train conductor. The second followed the birth of my niece, who is a true beauty.
