I have a poem out now with the South Florida Poetry Journal, SoFloPoJo for short. It’s called “Radio” and you can read (or listen to me read it) here.
The poem is about being in your car alone at night and calling in a request to the local radio station. It was one of the rare instances where I wrote the whole thing in one sitting and required only minor edits in spacing and word choice. I think it turned out pretty well.
